Teaching..

Recently I visited a government school as part of Books and Stationary donation to the students.

After books donation I went to a class room just to talk casually with the students and it was 8th class room. I asked them "what is your aim and what do you want to become when you grow up". All the students said Doctor, Police, Collector, Engineer, Teacher, Pilot etc. and one of the boy said that he wants to join Army, appreciated him. And one boy said "Everyone says I am poor in studies but I want to earn money and I want to rule all these Doctors, Engineers and Collectors, So I want to become a politician". I was surprised and asked him what your parents are doing? and the boy said that his father is working near a politician. I thought it is ok when a Doctor's son is becoming a Doctor, when an actor's son is becoming an actor, ................! but that boy's thinking to earn money through politics may not be correct. I came out of my thoughts and continued with the next student and I asked the topper of the class (I was not aware that she is topper of the class but later their class teacher told me that she is topper), This time I was more surprised and felt very happy with her answer "I want to become a common woman and I want to choose a right leader and control these politicians with my Vote and want to educate others also on the same". I asked her too that what her parents are doing, she said that both of her parents are government teachers. With more surprise went into thoughts again "Even though her parents are government teachers and earning good money, they are sending their daughter to a government school and they are teaching right things at home also, they are the real teachers and given a salute to them with my heart". I appreciated her and asked her to Conway my thanks to her parents. And left the school after some time but with such good memories..
